Ignatian Family Teach-In for Justice/School of the Americas Protest
Each year students from Jesuit schools all over the country gather at Fort Benning, Georgia to remember the 1989 Salvadoran Jesuit martyrs and to participate in a Teach-In on this and other related justice issues.

Lobbying & Advocacy Resources
The founder of the Jesuits, St. Ignatius of Loyola, believed that people could "find God in all things."  And that means even politics, because working for just legislation is just as important as serving food in a soup kitchen!  Campus Ministry encourages all members of the Canisius community to spend some time looking carefully at and thinking critically about political issues.  There are a variety of on-line resources available to help you sort through the current events; visit the Lobbying and Advocacy page for more information.

Direct Service
Campus Ministry offers a variety of direct service opportunities. Each of these opportunities focus on our four cornerstones: simplicity, service, community, and prayer/reflection. Opportunities are available in the Buffalo community, over Winter and Spring Breaks through domestic trips, and internationally.
