Canisius has invested $170 million in 20 major projects on its campus over the past two decades to create a state-of-the-art living and learning environment.
Canisius is a leader in science education and our newly-opened Science Hall enables us to build upon that academic strength. Canisius has completed Phase 1 of the facility’s renovation, which now houses the Institute for Autism Research, the George E. Schreiner ’43, MD, Pre-Medical Center and the Departments of Computer Science, Physics, and Mathematics and Statistics. When completed, the facility will consolidate all of Canisius’ science programs under one roof. The outstanding preparation students receive at Canisius will contribute to the world-class research already underway in Western New York’s growing life sciences industry.
