Questions for Job Search Committees to Ask Academic Department Candidates

Please ask one or more of these questions in the course of the candidate’s on-campus interview.

  • How might your work in your department support the mission and identity of the college? 
  • Ignatian Pedagogy embodies five key teaching elements: Context, Experience, Reflection, Action, and Evaluation. How would these elements speak to your own teaching philosophy?
