The New York State Association of Foreign Language Teachers Inc. awarded Eileen M. Angelini, PhD, a Gertrude Rossin Cultural Grant in the amount of $500. The chair and associate professor of modern languages will use the grant to further support her development of a National Endowment for the Humanities (NEH) Summer Seminar at Canisius College in 2010. She will also use a portion of the grant to purchase materials related to the Canadian province of Quebec, which will be housed in the college’s Andrew Bouwhuis Library.
