Students who need additional aid in succeeding in their course work can get help through a variety of academic support services and offices.  These offices assist students in areas such as career guidance and job preparation, personal growth and development counseling, attaining interdependence for those with disabilities, personal achievement strategies and more.  Students may also be advised to take special courses or sections if their performance in the first year indicates such special attention may be helpful.
