12-01-04 Winding Down
Hello Again!
With the semester winding down, now is the time to start wrapping those written and oral assignments up. I have been working overtime getting papers and presentations polished so that I can finish this semester on a very good note. So far the semester is looking really good and at the moment, it appears my GPA will be around a 3.7, but I am hoping to get it a little higher. In addition to working incessantly on homework, I also have to help students in the philosophy 300 (logic) class which I proctor, and on top of that, I have papers to grade and work in the Annual Fund. Busy times breed productive people in my opinion, so I like having something to do so that I have less time to be idle. Come December 15, the last day of my final exams, I will be more than happy though to go home and unwind...this semester has been a crazy one!
I am looking forward to going home for break because at home, the only thing I plan on doing is lounging around and sleeping. Maybe I will do a little reading and writing, but pretty much I will be relaxing and in my opinion, I deserve to because I have worked my proverbial tail off this semester. Next semester will hopefully be a blast and I am anxiously awaiting it because I am excited about the classes that I will be taking (research methods, urban sociology, theories in sociology, African American literature and race and ethnic relations). Maybe next semester I will even get that 4.0!!!
Well folks that is all for now...be safe and take care:)
