100 Days Until Graduation

Hello everyone!
That’s right everyone! In less than 100 days (or 89 to be exact, at the time that this is being typed) I will be a graduate of Canisius College and will be bidding adieu to undergraduate life while saying hello to graduate school, the real world, and off-campus employment.
While many of my friends feel a bit of anxiety now that graduation is so near, I am relieved and confident. When I came to Canisius I knew that my purpose was to succeed in every facet of college life and I feel that I have done that. In addition, I have been able to establish some very amazing relationships both with faculty, staff and students, relationships that I am sure will live on long after I leave Canisius and continue down my path to success.
The most important lesson that I have learned while being a student here is that college, like life in general, is truly what you make of it; either you can choose to take advantage of the full experience, or you can limit yourself to certain aspects. By taking advantage of the full experience you are able to broaden not simply your mind, but your range of experience. By doing this you are preparing yourself for real leadership, which is what Canisius is all about.
Lastly, I would like to report on some interesting things that have occurred as of late: I have been selected for induction both in Who’s Who Among Students in American Universities and Colleges and Alpha Kappa Delta (the national honor society for sociology), and I received an “A” on my first graduate paper. Life is indeed good!
