Senior Year: One Last Go Round...
I can’t believe I am already a senior in college! It seems like just yesterday I was at orientation, a scared freshman, thinking about how hard college was going to be. Now that I look back, the transition wasn’t really that bad. Classes didn’t get too much harder, but workload definitely increased. That’s been the story of this semester thus far, non-stop work! If I never had to read another book in my life, I would be happy.
It is nice to be back in the swing of things though. There is always something to do, whether it is friends, work, or just relaxing (which doesn’t happen very often once classes begin). I am taking six courses again this semester. All the classes are actually pretty interesting, and all of my professors are really cool too. I am also working 12 hours a week with my work-study job and soon to be working on Saturday mornings too, giving tours to knew students. I also applied for a job in Galleria Mall, which is only about 5 to 10 minutes from campus by car! I am definitely keeping busy, hopefully not too busy, it is my senior year and I definitely want to have fun too!

My room mate John turned twenty-one this month! That was definitely a lot of fun. It is crazy how fast you grow up. I am turning twenty-one in November. I feel so old now!! Anyway, a bunch of my friends and I got together and surprised him with a cake and gifts and such. He really enjoyed it and we had a really fun time.

The weeks to come are bound to be more exciting. I am going to Florida next month during October break, and there will be a bunch of exciting exams to take in the next few weeks (Note the sarcasm on the exciting part)! Nonetheless, I wouldn’t want it any other way, whether I am in the library just study or making dinner together, it is nice to have my friends back in town and letting the good times continue.
