07-28-05 Working off Campus
Hey gang!

It's that time again! So a lot of folks have been asking me where I get the money from to do all of the things I do (movies, mall and anything else). Well, the truth is I have to work and go to school at the same time. Believe me, I don’t like it either. But, since I had to get a job I figured I might as well have a good one you know? I wish I could work on campus but I can’t. That is what some scholarships can do to you. (*sad face*)
On the weekends and one day during the week I work at Tuxedo Junction! It

doesn’t sound interesting, who likes the thought of measuring people with smelly socks and pit stained t-shirts, NO ONE! LOL. But I really get passed that all. I actually make commission when I sell tuxedos to people. This is something that can happen like once a week, which is not bad. Also, I do not complain at all when I am getting a paycheck deposited into my account every Thursday!!! The paycheck can seem rather small (considering you should only work like 15-20 hours a week, if that) but it is still enough money to get by.

As they say, "All work and no play...". |
At Tuxedo Junction, I get to work with other peo ple around my age in college. This is rather fun because I am making so many connections with other people. I’ve been hanging out with them more and more and who doesn’t like that??? (Wink). Another reason why I like working at that store is because I play dress up to make time go by. Look at me in this picture with this HUGE (Fuccillo Chevrolet HUGE) tuxedo jacket. I was entertaining my co-workers in this big jacket pretending to be a choir director. Quite funny, eh???
