The First Rule of Business: Invest your time Wisely!

You are invited to experience the business community at Canisius firsthand. Please join us at this year's CFA Investment Research Challenge where you will have the opportunity to attend a career panel discussion, followed by a luncheon featuring guest speaker David Blitzer, Managing Director & Chairman of the Index Committee, S&P Dow Jones Indices. After lunch, an optional tour of our new Financial Markets Lab will be available.

The panel discussion and luncheon are part of the WNY Investment Research Challenge. The competition includes student finance teams from nine New York colleges: Niagara, St. Bonaventure, Syracuse University, SUNY Buffalo, Brockport, Fredonia, Geneseo, Oswego, and Canisius. The student teams are tasked with researching a publicly traded company, preparing a written report on that company, and then presenting their findings to a panel of professional judges. The event is another example of how Canisius provides students experiential learning opportunities that enhance their education and career preparation.

We hope you can join us for the panel discussion and lunch to learn more about career opportunities in the field of business and how a Canisius Business degree can help you advance your career.
