The MBA in Professional Accounting is a career changing program that is designed for students who do not have an undergraduate degree in accounting.  The program attracts students with a variety of undergraduate majors including: economics, math, English, music, history, marketing, finance, psychology, management, and computer science.  Our MBA in Professional Accounting Program meets the New York State 150 hour CPA license education requirement.

Canisius College Accounting Programs CPA Exam Results
Canisius College alumni ranked second in overall pass rate in New York State on the 2012 CPA exam cycle, in the category of Medium Programs (institutions with 21 to 60 candidates).  For Medium Programs Canisius participants scored first (1st) in New York State on the auditing portion of the 2012 CPA exam and first on the financial accounting and reporting portion.
