Before you sumbit your application, please review these instructions:
- Complete the on-line application, located at the bottom of this page. OR Canisius College is a member of the Common Application, which you may use to apply for admission in lieu of the institutional application. The Canisius College institutional application and the Common Application are treated equally in the application review process. Click here if you would like to use the Common Application to apply.
- Download, print and send the Sources of Financial Support form (Adobe Acrobat .PDF), which indicates your ability to finance your education and is necessary for us to issue the immigration form I-20. Send the completed Sources of Financial Support form to: Office of Undergraduate Admissions, Canisius College, 2001 Main St., Buffalo, New York 14208-1098

- Send certified copies of secondary school and college/university course work to the Office of Undergraduate Admissions. When not written in English, these should be accompanied by certified translations.
Please note: If English is not your first (native) language, we will also require that you take the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) exam and have the results sent to the Office of Undergraduate Admissions. A minimum score of 500 on the paper version, 173 on the computer version, or 65 on the internet-based version is required to be considered for admission to Canisius.
*STEPS and IELTS are also accepted. A minimum score of Pre-1 is preferred for STEPS, however students with a score of 2A will be considered in combination with transcripts. A minimum score of 6 is required for the IELTS.
