Back from Break
Hello everyone!
It’s good to be back in Buffalo. Even though I’m a junior it’s always a little weird whenever I first get back from a break. However, after a few days of adjusting to being on my own again it’s fine. Well, not completely fine, I still wish I had my mom up here to cook and clean for me. I don’t know if I’ll ever get used to all that.
I’m three weeks into my last semester at Canisius! I can’t believe it! Where did the time go? It seems like the closer I get to graduating, the faster the time goes. All of my friends are talking about graduate schools and “real” jobs. It feels like it was just yesterday when we were all nervous freshmen meeting each other on move-in day.
Right now in-between going to classes and working, I’m trying to find a summer internship. I really do think the Career Center is one of the most useful offices on Campus because so far they have helped me out a lot with my internship search. They critiqued my resume and hooked me up with this amazing web-site that is offered to Canisius students called collegecentral.com. Canisius students can post their resume on this site, look at and apply for posted internships and companies can seek out students based on their resume. I think this site is a great resource and everyone at Canisius should take advantage of it. Hopefully, I’ll soon have something lined up for this summer.
