Thanksgiving Break

Hello everyone!

This month has been so crazy!  I had four exams in a row, I went to the annual semiformal dance and I traveled to Boston for Thanksgiving.  Leading up to Thanksgiving I had two exams one week, two more the next week and a term paper due.  I was so glad that I finished my exams before break because I really didn’t want to study while I was in Boston.

I recently went to Semiformal which is an annual dinner/dance hosted by the Senate Programming Board.  This year the Semiformal was at the HSBC Arena Harbour Club 100, which overlooks Lake Erie and the Buffalo skyline.  I had so much fun!  I went with my roommates, their dates and my boyfriend Matt.  Since it was snowing that night we took the Metro there and back.  This was extremely convenient because the Metro is free and it’s located right outside my apartment.

Thanksgiving was soo great!  Even though I couldn’t fly all the way back to Texas for the break I did get to spend Thanksgiving at my sister’s apartment in Boston.  My sister and I hosted our first Thanksgiving dinner, which I’ll never forget because we cooked an eighteen-pound turkey that almost didn’t fit in her oven.  Boston with my sister was awesome! We cooked together, went shopping all around the city and went to the best Salsa club in Boston!
