Happy Holidays!
Hello everyone!
I can’t believe I survived finals week! I’m so glad it’s over with. It’s extremely hard having 4 exams right before Christmas break because all you want to think about is going home and being with family which makes it hard to concentrate on studying. This finals week was especially brutal because I had my two hardest exams on Friday which was the very last day of finals. While all my friends were packing up to go home I had to study. I guess this year I just wasn’t lucky with the exam scheduling. On the up side of finals week you are done with regular classes so you only have to worry about exams.
The ending of this semester is bittersweet. I’m so happy to be done with exams but at the same time I’m sad because my roommate Katie Ryan is studying abroad in London next semester. I’m going to miss her so much! She’s the one who pretty much got me through my financial accounting class this semester. We had many late nights of accounting cramming. I know it sounds like a good time, right? Anyway, it really is awesome that she’s going to London. If any of you ever have the opportunity of study abroad I would definitely take it. It’s always good to be exposed to new and different things especially different cultures. At Canisius we have an International Student Programs office that handles the study abroad programs. Some countries that you can go to study abroad include Spain, Ireland, France, Australia and Sweden.
Now that Christmas break is finally here I’m going to catch up on my sleep and enjoy the comforts of home and family!
