Mid-Semester

Hello everyone!

Mid-Semester is here!  It definitely feels like it because of all the midterms. This week alone I have midterms in accounting, international marketing and marketing research.  On top of that I have two presentations!  The work really never ends in college.

Besides studying like crazy, I’m patiently waiting to here from the admissions office at the Fashion Institute of Technology.  Some days I catch myself checking the mail twice a day.  My three years at Canisius have lead me to this point.  I have applied to FIT and hopefully I will be studying in NYC my senior year.  Through this program that Canisius has in conjunction with FIT, I will earn a bachelor’s degree in marketing from Canisius and an associate’s bachelor’s degree from FIT all in four years.  Right now it’s a little scary knowing that next fall I won’t be at Canisius and won’t be around all the friends that I’ve had for the past three years.  However, with new environments come new opportunities.  I’m sure living in New York City will be great!  I just met the two other girls that are going to FIT from Canisius and they seem awesome.  We just decided that we’re living in a suite at FIT.  That is if we all are accepted (keep your fingers crossed).

Although my life has been quite crazy, I did have the chance to go to my roommates synchronized swimming meet.  The meet was against the University of Michigan. Our synchronized swimming team here at Canisius is nationally ranked!  I had an awesome time watching them at their home meet.  Canisius won 97 to 84.

Go Griffs!
