The Final Stretch!

Hello everyone!

It’s the final stretch of the semester and spring is here! This is not good for studying. I find that this time of year college students tend to slack off when it comes to doing work. It’s so hard to concentrate when beautiful days come around.

We just got back from spring break a couple of weeks ago. I definitely didn’t have the typical college spring break in Daytona or Cancun-I know, I’m boring. I did make some extra cash by staying on campus and working at the admissions office. Lucky for me my roommate Alaina had to stay on campus to practice for her upcoming synchronized swim meet.

This past weekend my roommates and I decided to get away, so we went to Rochester, which is about an hour from Buffalo. Since my roommate Colleen is from Rochester we all crashed at her house and got up early Saturday morning to drive to the outlet mall. This weekend was so much fun. It’s nice when you have roommates who live nearby, mainly for the home cooked meals.

Thankfully, this semester I only have two finals to prepare for. This will be nice when final exam week comes. My other three classes are more hands on. We’re doing final group projects instead of having final exams, which I’m so happy for. I would choose group work over an exam any day.
