I can’t believe that it is here and that I am at this point in my life.  I have grown so much; so much has changed about me.  I feel like things are only now about to start in my life.

This semester has been off to a great start. I am interning at News 4 in Buffalo and so far that is going great for me. I am learning some pretty exciting things that otherwise I wouldn’t have the chance to. I have had a chance to practice my writing and be critiqued by people who actually do it everyday.

The biggest news on campus lately was the visit from Senator Hillary Clinton, Senator Clinton, spoke at the Montante Cultural Center regarding health issues.  I went to hear her speak and it was pretty exciting with all of the media coverage.  Then once I got to News 4 it was all over the networks.  It was cool to see the school on TV and all.

Classes on the whole are going well.  I find myself pretty busy lately.  Classes and work and now the internship have my schedule completely filled.  It doesn’t bother me too much because I enjoy staying busy and having things to do.  When I don’t have anything to do I find that I get easily bored so keeping a tight schedule helps me beat that feeling while having enough time to relax at least once during the week.
