Get Useful Help for Finals

Tomorrow is my last day of classes before finals; this semester has flown by!  Now is the time of the semester where a lot of work is required.  Finals are right around the corner and a lot of papers and projects are due for many classes.  The campus is buzzing not only activity, but also the excitement of a one month vacation!

Since there are a lot of papers due, projects to present, and exams to study for, the amount of work can get overwhelming.  However, Canisius has a lot of facilities that can help to alleviate tension during this stressful time of the semester.  The tutoring center in the third floor of Old Main is one of these facilities.  There, you can get help with pretty much any course by tutors that not only know the subject matter, but also the professors who teach it and what they may be looking for.  The best part about the tutoring center is that the tutoring is free!  You can go in whenever you are available to get papers edited or ask questions about almost any class that you may be taking.

This past week, I have gone to the tutoring center twice.  The first time was to get my premedical dossier proof read and the second was to have my philosophy term paper edited.  The tutors there were really helpful.  Not only did they edit for grammar, but they also gave me ideas to help make my writing stronger.

The tutoring center offers help in many subjects.  It is free for students and offers flexible hours.  It is especially helpful during the busiest time of the semester.  Above all, it is a great facility!

Good luck on finals!
