A lot has been going on these past couple of weeks at Canisius! There is plenty of planning going on for next year. With all of the things going on, this semester looks like it will
be both eventful and enjoyable!
Housing selection, or choosing dorms and roommates, is online this year. Instead of waiting in line to choose a room, you can now sign up online and create a prioritized list of where you want to live. This makes choosing housing a lot easier!
I have also seen a lot of high school students around campus lately. Tours and overnights are a great resource when deciding on a college (you should definitely pick Canisius!). These enable you to come and see what the college is really like by looking around and even staying for a couple of days. If you are at all interested in this you can sign up here /admissions/camp_overnight_registration.asp.
And sign up quickly because some of the dates are already full!
The Village RA staff at a campus pancake breakfast. There's always

something going on at Canisius!
Besides getting ready for next year in terms of housing, I have also been preparing a research presentation. Next weekend, I will be traveling to Denver, CO to present an extended mathematical model for tumor growth. There are a lot of these research opportunities at Canisius. They are good opportunities to travel, build up a resume, and to have an overall great experience to talk about in interviews and to have fun with. With so much going on for next year, preparing for my big presentation, classes, and friends, it is difficult not to be busy. With everything going on already, this semester is sure to fly by!
