All Work and No Play....

What’s up everyone?

Scotty Time here for your monthly update of what’s going on here at Canisius College.  After moving in and the first few weeks of classes, things are finally starting to fall into a routine for me.

As far as classes go, they’re beginning to become a bit tedious but it’s the same as with all classes.  My homework still isn’t that much except for all the reading I have to do.  Now, if I told you that I sat in my room and did all of my homework before I went out or had any fun, I would be lying.  In all honesty, homework is not very high up on my list of priorities.  I would have to say that Madden and wiffleball would probably be at the top.  Most of you readers would probably agree with me that homework doesn’t come first all the time but I figured I’d share because I’m a real college student who’ll tell you what really goes on up here.  I’m in the all-college honors programs and my grades are a solid A-B.  When I need to get work done I get it done but all work and no play leads for an un-enjoyable time.

Baseball practices have ended for the fall but we have started lifting and doing plios.  For those of you who do not know what plios are, I would define them as a coach’s legal torture device.  It is constant movement for 15 minutes and it’s very, very tiring.  However, it is a good work out and I’ve been feeling the burn for about three days now!  Our school has a fantastic weight room for those of you who like to stay fit and great food for those who like to eat.  I would probably fit into the eating category but…to each his own right?

Well, I’m out of room and out of time so I’m gonna hit the dusty trail.  Stayed tuned for the 7 o’clock news…You stay classy San Diego.
