Only Weeks Left
Buenos Dias Amigos. I am back again for another Canisius update. Things have been pretty busy around here this month due to lots of baseball commitments and break assignments so I’ll try to keep it short, just bear with me.
Well, I last talked about midterms and we did get them back eventually. Thankfully my hard work paid off and I did well on most of them… The week after spring break was the most hectic because that is when all of my paper assignments were due but who does homework on spring break? Needless to say I had to do some quick thinking to delay my paper dates but when that didn’t work I headed over to the library with some of my friends and managed to get all of our work done. The library is great because it’s three stories with plenty of tables and study rooms so you can always find someplace quiet to study.

Enough about work though, intramural hockey is approaching the final week of the season and after a 1-1 start we needed to win our next two in order to have a shot at the playoffs. The first game we played the other team was playing with a man-down so we steam rolled them without a problem. Then was our next opponent, Hughes Street with a perfect 3-0 record with an average win ratio of +6. Our team moral was down until our goalie got out of class early and we went into the game “guns blazing.” After the first half, we were on top by a score of 7-1. The game ended up being 8-5 for a victory in our favor and the first place spot was now ours!
Easter break came and went real fast. I stayed on campus because it’s too far to go home for only a few days. Thankfully most of my friends were here too so we hung out and watched some baseball games. With only 3 ˝ weeks of school left, research papers are starting to pile up so I best be going. Until we meet again…
