If you are approved for admission as a transfer student, your transcripts will be evaluated by the Student Records Office. This evaluation will include a listing of all college courses and credits that are transferable, as well as their equivalent value to the Canisius degree program for which you are applying. Students who transfer with an associate’s degree are given junior standing.

*Students transferring from four-year institutions must complete at least 30 credit hours at Canisius, including at least 18 in their major, in order to earn a bachelor’s degree.
All evaluations are done in accordance with the college's accreditation policies and, generally, are mailed within two weeks of your acceptance.
