Office of Alumni Engagement
The strength of the Canisius alumni network isn’t just that it’s 40,000 strong; the strength of our alumni network is that they stay connected.
They don’t forget Canisius after they graduate. They subscribe to The Griffin. They stop by to visit former professors. They volunteer on Community Day. When we battle Niagara, you’ll see business executives and entrepreneurs decked out in blue and gold, respected community leaders and esteemed academics cheering as loudly as undergraduates.
Exciting things are always happening at Canisius and at alumni programs around the country. Join fellow graduates to cheer on the Griffs at a sporting event, or recognize distinguished alumni at the annual awards dinner. From reunions on campus to regional events across the country, there is something for everyone.

Building PoWerful Partnerships
The Women’s Leadership Council and the Griff Center invite you to meet your mentor at Building PoWerful Partnerships.
The event will offer attendees the opportunity of a unique evening of “speed mentoring” and networking with accomplished, high profile Canisius alumnae and friends through one-on-one brief coaching sessions.
The evening will begin with a presentation by Maureen Hurley, Co-Chair of the Women’s Leadership Council, about the endless opportunities that can arise for both mentors and mentees through this experience.
Throughout the evening, each attendee has 4-5 minutes to meet with a mentor before you will be indicated when to move on to the next. Participants will receive a roster of the mentors ahead of time to review and decide with whom they will spend their encounters with. The evening will be fun, fast paced, and most importantly, an opportunity to make valuable connects with influential leaders across Canisius and our community.
