Alumni & Friends
Can't Beat Our Alumni Network
The strength of the Canisius alumni network isn’t just that it’s 40,000 strong. Or that it spans the globe. Or that it’s ranks have included bank presidents, congressmen, the host of the Food Network’s Secrets of a Restaurant Chef, and senior executives at UPS and Goldman Sachs (just to name a few). The strength of our alumni network is that they stay connected. They don’t forget Canisius after they graduate. They subscribe to The Griffin. They stop by to visit former professors. They volunteer on Community Day. When we battle Niagara, you’ll see business executives and entrepreneurs decked out in blue and gold, respected community leaders and esteemed academics cheering as loudly as undergraduates.
It's All About Alumni Engagement
The goal of the Office of Alumni Engagement is to build a long-term, meaningful relationship between the college and its alumni by consistently providing opportunities for the college to enrich the lives of its graduates as determined by the expression of their needs and interests. The Office of Alumni Engagement will achieve this not only through the programs and services it offers to alumni, but also through the opportunities that are made available for the alumni to give back to alma mater.
