As alumni you want to get involved, but often times don't have the chance to set foot on campus. Canisius Connect offers the opportunity for you to get involved and help out your Canisius University community on your own time. Canisius Connect is an online platform that allows alumni to mentor and network with our current students, as well as other alumni. It has over 2500 active users on it to date. The platform serves as an opportunity to connect people who have shared interests and who need some assistance in their professional journey.
As an alumnus, why should I sign up?
This is a unique opportunity to give back to Canisius University by sharing your time and expertise with current students and other alumni- virtually and when it is convenient for you.
How much time will an active user require?
One of the features of Canisius Connect is that it's not intended to connect you with students and alumni to facilitate lengthy mentoring relationships. It's meant to help students and other alumni with very specific professional help in a virtual way. It's up to you how much you choose to use the platform.
How do I create my profile?
