scholarships

The Masters Business Alumni Association (MBAA) supports the evening MBA program by offering scholarships to qualified students. Scholarships are awarded on the basis of academic ability, financial need and community service. Candidates must be U.S. citizens and meet all admission requirements, including completion of the Graduate Management Admissions Test (GMAT). For more information, e-mail gradubus@canisius.edu or call 1-800-543-7906.

The MBAA is able to award scholarship money due to the generous donations of graduate business alumni. Because employer tuition assistance programs have become more restrictive and tuition costs have increased, students are funding a greater portion of the cost of an MBA. Recent surveys indicate there is a growing number of students who do not receive any tuition assistance.

You can help a student pursue a Canisius MBA by donating money to the MBAA annual fund or by requesting that your donation be restricted to the MBAA scholarship fund. (Depending on the performance of the fund, each year money is designated for scholarships). Contact Laura McEwen at 1-800-543-7906 or e-mail mcewenl@canisius.edu for more information.
