Time-Sensitive Activities

The following is a list of activities that chapters can organize that need to be scheduled at specific time of year in order to be timely and relevant.

Alumni Friendship Activities:
  • Welcoming new alumni to your area (August or September)
Student Recruitment Activities:
  • Bus trip to Open House (October)
  • Assisting area admissions representatives at college fairs (Fall)
  • Congratulating admitted high school students (early April)
  • Freshman Send Offs (late July/early August)
Canisius Athletic Events:
The assistant director of Alumni Relations may have access to athletic schedules before they are posted, please contact him for this information (i.e. knowledge of a basketball schedule before its release date).

Professional Athletic Events:
  • All professional athletic events depend on season.
