What is the aim of the Canisius Alumni Association Regional Chapter Network?
Through the Canisius Alumni Association, Canisius College is committed to working with you, along with other alumni, parents and friends to realize the college’s mission and goals, to provide opportunities for alumni to stay connected to the college, and for the college to communicate its vision to alumni.
As an active member of the Regional Alumni Chapter Network, you will have the opportunity to remain involved in the life of the college, as well as continue to participate in the college’s Jesuit and Catholic tradition through programs and services developed by your chapter.
What are the Regional Alumni Chapter Network’s key program goals?
We want to engage and involve you, along with other alumni, parents and friends in your region, in direct and meaningful ways that enrich your life and support the continued growth and success of the college.
We’ll suggest some specific ways that you can do this, but we hope that you and your chapter will develop other activities and events that encourage participation and advance the mission of the college.
To guide our efforts, the Canisius Alumni Association suggests focusing chapter activities and alumni involvement to meet these key goals:
- Promoting the college’s vision to become a major regional university enrolling high quality students from geographically diverse areas.
- Meeting the educational, social, spiritual and professional needs of Canisius alumni, parents and friends.
- Supporting Canisius student recruitment efforts in your city or region.
- Promoting ideas that raise fundraising consciousness among alumni, parents and friends.
