About the Buildings History and Maintenance Collection

This collection contains photos of the construction, expansion, cornerstone layings and dedications of Canisius College buildings. The college has occupied three different campuses since its founding in 1870. The original college was located on the second floor of 434 Ellicott Street. Increased enrollment forced a change in 1872 to its first campus at 651 Washington Street. In 1911 the college again moved to its present site, 2001 Main Street in Buffalo, NY. |
