Left at stop sign and then left onto Main Street
Left onto Delavan (third light) and immediate right into parking lot
Directions to the Buffalo State Sports Arena
(Canisius College ice hockey's home rink)
From Canisius College:
Take 198 West to Grant Street exit.
Left on Grant Street.
Left at the first traffic signal.
Right into the Parking Lot.
West Bound I-90:
Take Exit 51 off Thruway onto 33 West.
Take 33 West to 198 West.
Take 198 West to Grant Street exit.
Left on Grant Street.
Left at the first traffic signal.
Right into the Parking Lot.
East Bound I-90:
Take exit 53 off NYS Thruway onto 190 North (Niagara Expressway).
Take 190 North to 198 East.
198 East to Grant Street exit.
Go straight through the traffic signal.
Right into the Parking Lot.
HSBC Arena
From the North (including Canada): Take I-190 South. You may exit at either of two exits:
- Recommended: Exit 5 (Louisiana Street): At the bottom of the exit turn left. Turn right onto Perry Street (1st light) or onto South Park Avenue (2nd light). The HSBC Arena is straight ahead. Parking is available just past Michigan Street.
- Alternate: Exit 6 (Elm Street): As you exit 190 bear left to the ramp and turn right onto Seneca Street. Take Seneca Street to the first light and turn right onto Michigan Street. Take Michigan Street over the bridge. You will see the HSBC Arena to your right. Parking is available in the lot and ramp off both Perry Street and South Park Avenue.
From the South, East, and West (via Thruway): Take Interstate 90 (Thruway) to Exit 53, which is I-190 North. You may exit at either of two exits:
- Recommended: Exit 6 (Elm Street): As you exit 190, bear right to the ramp, and turn right onto Seneca Street. Take Seneca Street to the first light and turn right onto Michigan Street. Take Michigan Street over the bridge. You will see the HSBC Arena to your right. Parking is available in the lot and ramp off both Perry Street and South Park Avenue.
- Alternate: Exit 4 (Smith Street): As you exit 190, bear right to the ramp, and turn right onto Smith Street. Take Smith Street 4 blocks(approximately 1.5 miles), turn right onto South Park Avenue (2nd light). The HSBC Arena is straight ahead. Parking is available just past Michigan Street.
From the East:
- Recommended: From Interstate 90 (Thruway) take Route 33 to Downtown Buffalo. Continue on Oak Street all the way to 190 South and exit immediately at Exit 5 (Louisiana Street). At the bottom of the exit, turn left. Turn right onto Perry Street (1st light) or onto South Park Avenue (2nd light). The HSBC Arena is straight ahead on the right. Parking is available just past Michigan Street.
- Alternate: From Interstate 90 (Thruway) take Route 33 to Downtown Buffalo. Continue on Oak Street all the way to Seneca Street and turn left. From the South (Lakeshore):Take Route 5 over the Skyway. Exit onto Route 190 South. You may take either of two exits:
- Recommended: Exit 5 (Louisiana Street): At the bottom of the exit turn left. Turn right onto Perry Street (1st light) or onto South Park Avenue (2nd light). The HSBC Arena is straight ahead. Parking is available just past Michigan Street.
