Overview
The Canisius Center for Professional Development’s CGB CCIP is designed to meet the needs of busy professionals in today’s “new economy”. The program features a powerful blend of Lean and Six Sigma, the two leading continuous improvement methodologies used in business today. Lean is a simple, easy to understand methodology used to identify and eliminate waste, cost, and cycle time. Six Sigma is a powerful tool used to reduce variation in processes and transactions. These tools have been successfully leveraged in both public and private sector to continuously improve customer service, product quality, service quality, and speed to market. Though often thought of as manufacturing tools, Lean and Six Sigma are increasingly being used successfully in many service industries, including healthcare, banking, non-profits, and other transaction-heavy organizations.

Our instructors are practitioners first and foremost- with vast experience in the logistics & supply chain, healthcare, industrial, government, and social services arenas…and we have the scars to prove it! From simply awareness of the techniques and fluency of the terminology; to intermediate usage; to demonstrated mastery of the techniques, we have the right course for you.
