The Mini-MBA is a comprehensive management development program that provides training in the most current and relevant areas in today's business environment. This program cultivates a fundamental understanding of the primary functions of management and builds a foundation for participants to understand how an organization operates as a whole. Taught by highly experienced professionals, this program provides small-group, in-class training that is interactive to further develop participants insight into the frameworks that drive organizational success.
Over a 10-week period, classes are conveniently held on Monday evenings from 6 - 9pm where a catered dinner is provided at 5:30pm.

Formulating Strategy

Leadership: Persuasion & Conflict Management

Participants will explore ways to effectively manage relationships across an organization, including dimensions of leading change, conduct that shapes corporate culture and strategies that lead to successful conflict management.
Negotiations

This course covers the strategies and tactics used to influence others in professional negotiation situations. Role playing exercises and simulations will be used to develop the knowledge and experience for handling difficult situations.
Principles of Finance

Marketing Strategy

Balanced Scorecard

Balanced scorecard is a metrics-driven approach to implementing strategy and managing performance. The balanced scorecard method considers not only financial metrics, but also business process, learning and growth, and customer metrics. Balanced scorecard is based on the principle that you cannot improve on what you cannot measure. As such, performance metrics must be SMART--specific, measurable, achievable, realistic, and timely. Implementing the balanced scorecard system company-wide can be the key to successful realization of the strategic plan and vision.
