American Payroll Association (APA) PayTrain Fundamentals and Mastery
The American Payroll Association (APA) is the professional society for payroll professionals and is the nation's leader in payroll education. APA sets the standards for payroll excellence through two certification programs. The Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) and the Fundamental Payroll Certification (FPC) are highly sought-after designations for payroll professionals who want to keep their knowledge up-to-date and advance their career.
PayTrain C/U is comprised of two courses; PayTrain Fundamentals and PayTrain Mastery. The courses cover the key skills and body of knowledge deemed critical by the APA for payroll professionals and serve as the basis for the Fundamental Payroll Certification (FPC) and Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) examinations. Both courses are designed to prepare payroll professionals for the CPP exam.
I- PayTrain Fundamentals:
Paytrain® Fundamentals –Payroll PayTrain® Fundamentals teaches the fundamental payroll calculations and applications necessary for individuals who are new to the payroll industry, those who support the payroll industry, and those who are preparing for the FPC certification examinations. This is a unique blended learning course that incorporates online and traditional learning. This course will provide you with the basic knowledge and skills required to maintain payroll compliance and prevent costly penalties.
II- PayTrain Mastery:
Paytrain® Mastery – A continuation of Payroll PayTrain® Fundamentals, Payroll PayTrain® Mastery is a comprehensive course providing students with a solid understanding of advanced payroll topics necessary for payroll managers and supervisors. This is a unique blended learning course that incorporates online and traditional learning. This course is ideal for experienced payroll professionals seeking compliance training, professional development, or CPP certification preparation. The Payroll PayTrain® Fundamentals course or holding the FPC designation is a prerequisite to take this course.

PayTrain Fundamentals (8 Weeks)
Saturdays: September 7 - October 26, 2013 from 9am- 1pm
PayTrain Mastery (10 Weeks)
Saturdays: February 1 - April 5, 2014 from 9am - 1pm
