The Performance of Teaching

This interactive seminar will explain and demonstrate progressive K-12 teaching techniques in time management, constructive student relations and reflective practice for the 21st century educator.  It will be taught in a theoretical framework where participants will be able to identify and handle external variables that directly or indirectly affect the classroom with current internal and external factors such as economic limitations, competing priorities and disparities in technology to help maximize teacher effectiveness and increase opportunities for student learning.

This seminar is geared for individuals who are entering the teaching profession or have been in the teaching profession for less than three years.  How to create a viable and successful classroom experience for all students will be the overall theme.  Participation in role-playing, case studies and small group work will be required.  With completion of this seminar, participants will have a better grasp of how to create a successful classroom for the 21st century learner.
