Call for Proposals

FOBI would like to encourage proposal submissions aligned with the 2009 FERC Conference theme of "Ethical, Environmental, and Stakeholder Issues in Family Firm Management."

Four grants will be awarded in 2008. Each winning proposal will have a stipend of $5000

ONLY ELECTRONIC SUBMISSIONS THROUGH FOBI’S WEBSITE WILL BE ACCEPTED:  www.fobi.gvsu.edu 

Electronic submissions are due March 14, 2008.

PROPOSALS SHOULD NOT EXCEED 6 PAGES.  

ALL PROPOSALS SHOULD INCLUDE:
  • A description of the project
  • The research objectives
  • A brief literature review
  • Justification for the study
  • The methodology
  • A project timeline
  • Outline for the use of funds
  • The refereed journal(s) that will be targeted
  • A CV or resume
