Events from Jesuit MBA Care Day 2007:
Canisius MBA Alumni and students give back to the community
On Saturday, April 21, 2007, along with approximately 30 other Jesuit MBA Programs from around the country, Canisius MBA students participated in the first annual Jesuit MBA Care Day.
Alumni and students were divided into two groups to give back to the community.
Buffalo Central Terminal Revitalization Project
The goal of the revitalization project is to re-establish the Central Terminal as an economic asset of the City of Buffalo/Erie County. Students and alumni rolled up their sleeves and moved dirt, concrete, and garbage.
Dominican Nuns of the Perpetual Rosary
The Dominican Nuns of the Perpetual Rosary are cloistered nuns. Students and alumni got their hands dirty cleaning outside and gardening.
MBA students and alumni giving back to the community embody what it means to be Jesuit. Care of others is reflected in our classroom teachings. In the Canisius MBA Program, leaders are made to promote intellectual life, spiritual development, and service to others.
