Canisius College : one Year MBA program

"You don't find too many History majors in Finance.  I am the rare banker with a B.A. in History, and the Canisius One-Year MBA Program made it possible.  The program introduced me to the fundamental concepts of finance, taught by richly experienced professors and brought to life in real-world case studies.  The rigor of the one-year intensive program also provided invaluable training for a deadline-driven career in banking.  The One-Year MBA Program equipped me with the tools to become a finance professional and ultimately landed me my first job in banking - working for a Canisius alum!"

One-Year MBA Program

The One-Year MBA program is an integrated curriculum designed around business decision-making processes.  After learning basic concepts, students enrolled in the accelerated MBA program follow a two-phase approach: Formulation and Implementation.  The Formulation phase shows students how to identify business problems, recognize the key issues involved and develop solutions.  The Implementation phase presents information on how to introduce solutions into the organization and evaluate results.
