Campus Ministry Immersion (CMI) Week
CMI: Buffalo
Friday, August 17 to Wednesday morning, August 22, 2012

CMI is a special five-day introduction to Canisius College, Campus Ministry, and the spirit of our Jesuit, Catholic University.

Campus Ministry supports the religious, spiritual, and service aspects of the college. The office organizes domestic and international service-immersion experiences, local service activities, religious services, spiritual retreats, peace and justice activites, and other great things. CMI: Buffalo will give students the opportunity to not only learn about Buffalo but partake in the essence of Campus Ministry through local service, justice activities, prayer, and a retreat.

Campus Ministry Immersion Week is a chance for 20 select freshmen from the class of 2016 to start college five days early and receive a special orientation to the activities and spirit of Canisius. This is a great opportunity for the incoming class of 2016 to meet their classmates and experience our campus community.

Resident students will move in during the afternoon of Friday, August 17. Commuters will commute. All meals and program transportation will be provided. A $100 fee will be required of participants to cover the cost of food and transportation. The fee is due upon acceptance to the program.

Applications for CMI 2012 are due by Thursday, June 28, 2012. Early applications will be accepted but not reviewed until the application due date.
