Join us for 2011-2012 Canisius Community Days:
September 24, November 19 and April 21.
9:15 am – 2:00 pm (includes lunch)
*We meet in the West Wing of the Cafeteria at 9:15 am.
Canisius Community Day enables members of the Canisius Community to collaborate with non-profit organizations (Community Partners) in the City of Buffalo. Our work varies from physical labor, to serving food and being present to others in need – at a home or shelter.
Canisius Community Days are times when members of the college community come together in solidarity to serve our community and those in need. Community Days are acts of gratitude for one another, our student organizations, our school, our families, and for God! Our work and service to and for others are done in the Spirit of the Jesuits, of being a person with and for others.
Canisius Community Day is a popular program. This photo essay captures the spirit of Community Day. Download a photo essay to read about past Community Days here. (pdf)
