Commuter Award
The Office of Campus Programming & Leadership Development is now accepting nominations for the Commuter Student of the Year award.
The Commuter Student of the Year will be notified by e-mail.
I. Purpose of Award
To recognize a commuter student who has rendered outstanding service to the commuter student population at Canisius College.
II. Credentials and Qualifications of the Commuter Student of the Year
A. Must be a full-time undergraduate commuter
B. Actively participate in campus-wide events
C. Demonstrate strong dedication to the Canisius community
D. Is a responsible and engaged citizen in the community in which they live
E. Display academic excellence and maintains a minimum 2.5 GPA
F. Exhibit enthusiasm and outstanding leadership in promoting the commuter student perspective
G. Must be nominated by a commuter student, faculty, and/or staff member
III. Details
A. This award will be given at the annual Leadership Awards Banquet.
B. The student recognized will receive a certificate of recognition and have his/her name engraved on a plaque to be displayed in the Commuter Lounge
