Griffins After Dark
From karaoke parties to an 80s prom night, this series of after-hours programming offers free fun, food and prizes each weekend. Griffins After Dark is a social programming initiative that provides students with frequent, safe, no-cost, alcohol-free, and engaging late night activities during the academic year weekends. Griffins After Dark works in collaboration with student organizations, campus departments and local businesses to develop, support, and/or fund late night programs. We aim to empower students to plan and participate in socially responsible programming.
Griffin Spirit Week
A campus tradition! Each spring semester, Canisius holds a week-long schedule of athletic games and events to help everyone show their school spirit. It's a jam packed week of games, giveaways and awesome activities. You won't want to miss this one and be left out in the cold with the Niagara fans. If there is one thing Canisius knows how to do right, its school spirit!
Griffin Welcome Week
The first week of classes can be a stressful time in the life of a college student. To help alleviate this stress, and to encourage students to meet new people, we have planned social activities for each night of the week. Griffin Welcome Week takes place annually during the first week of the fall semester.
Orientation at Canisius College is a very important first step in ensuring a successful college career.
