Ignatian discernment is a dynamic for personal, professional, and spiritual growth, first articulated by Ignatius Loyola, author of The Spiritual Exercises and founder of the Society of Jesus.  It begs the question, “What do I desire?” in the presence of a deepening relationship with God and the good.

Discernment is at the center of conversations engaged by our students in our residence halls, clubs, and sports teams.  Discernment engages our staff involved in the Ignatian Colleagues Program.  Our Boards of Trustees, Regents, and our Alumni Association are discovering the value of discernment as they lead, promote, and serve the college.
