What will we learn?
This series will introduce students to the movements and training specific to boxing. Students will do everything that a boxer does for training with the exception of one thing; you will not be allowed to hit each other. The series will focus various ways to deliver punches, and get out of the way of strikes. Emphasis on proper alignment, breathing, and movement from your center will be explored.
What should I wear to the Boxing Workout Class?
- Workout Clothes
- Do NOT wear jewelry!
What should I bring to class each week?
- Boxing gloves (if you own them), otherwise they'll be supplied.
- Bottle of water
How many classes will be held?
- There will be a total of 6 classes. Please try to make every class, as CONSISTENCY is the key!
How much will the Boxing Workout classes cost?
- The classes are FREE for all full-time Canisius College undergraduate students
Do I need to sign up for the series?
- NO, however class size is limited to the first 30 people
