The Brown Bag Discussion Series is an opportunity for students to sit down with Terri Mangione, Dean of Students; Dr. Ellen Conley, Vice President for Student Affairs; and other key members of the administration to discuss various issues across campus.
To accommodate our students’ schedules we have moved the Brown Bag series to the early evenings. In order to increase student access to these events the dates and times vary. The schedule is as follows:
September - Tuesday, September 25th at 4:00 pm in the Executive Conference Room in the Student Center
October – Tuesday, October 23rd at 4:30pm in the Executive Conference Room in the Student Center
November – Thursday, November 15th at 5:00 pm in the Faculty Dining Room
February – Thursday, February 7th at 4:00 pm in the Faculty Dining Room
March – Wednesday, March 5th at 4:30pm in the Executive Conference Room in the Student Center
April – Tuesday, April 24th at 5:00 pm in the Faculty Dining Room
Brown Bag Discussions are open to all students and organizations. However, we ask that you register in advance with the Office of Campus Programming & Leadership Development at x2190 in order to have an accurate count. Food and drinks are provided.
To suggest a topic for discussion, please contact Jim McCarthy, Leadership Development Coordinator at mccart20@canisius.edu. Topics can be about almost anything so please make suggestions.
