We strongly encourage conference participants to download our mobile guide to enhance your experience at the Western New York Student Leadership Conference. You will be able to plan your day with a personalized schedule and browse session abstracts, maps and directions using this app. We will be providing a limited number of printed programs on the day of the conference as all of the information will be uploaded to our Guidebook app.

The
Guidebook app is compatible with iPhones, iPads, iPod Touches and Android devices. Windows Phone 7 and Blackberry users can access the same information via our mobile site at m.guidebook.com.

Once you have installed the App, open it up and select “download guides.”  Search for “Western New York” and select the guide with our logo and name “Western New York Student Leadership Conference.”

Parking & Directions
Parking will be available in the Parking Pavilion located on Jefferson Avenue.  Busses may drop off on Main Street in front of the Montante Cultural Center and then proceed to the Spillman lot to park.  Please click here for directions to campus and here for a campus map of the conference facilities.  A map including the Spillman lot is available here.

Meet the keynote speaker Ed Gerety!

Ed Gerety is one of the top professional youth speakers and leadership trainers in the United States.  He has spoken to audiences in all 50 states, Canada, and Europe reaching over one million people and counting.  An experienced keynote speaker and leadership trainer at national youth leadership conferences, colleges and universities, and schools across the country, Ed is recognized for his unique ability to connect with audiences about real issues. Through his personal experiences, humor, and insights Ed teaches the principles and skills that are essential to the development of leaders. His powerful programs leave a lasting impact.

Ed is the author of Combinations: Opening the Door to Student Leadership and a contributing author of four books on leadership and personal development.  The National Speakers Association awarded Ed their highest earned designation, Certified Speaking Professional (CSP), an honor held by less than 10% of speakers who belong to the International Federation of Professional Speakers.  He is a graduate of the University of New Hampshire and has completed the Boston Marathon three times.  Ed lives in New Hampshire with his wife and two children.
