The interdisciplinary entrepreneurship program prepares students for a wide range of career possibilities, whether they plan to start and operate their own business, manage a family-owned business, assume a leadership role in an emerging business or take part in a joint venture with another business. Additionally, social entrepreneurs create new enterprises or inventions which address societal needs in new and different ways through work in the public sector.
Career options are limited only by the student's ingenuity and imagination.
Many students who wish to become entrepreneurs find that spending a few years working with a company provides the preparation and experience for their own ventures to come.
Entrepreneurship majors have started a wide array of small businesses including a landscaping service and pizza shop.
