Course Syllabus: HON 351 Risk Assessment of Technologies (Adobe Acrobat PDF)
Course Description: There are a large number of technology related issues that influence the quality of life in our society. Many of these technologies which are chemically based, like pesticides, genetically modified plants and nuclear energy, have perceived risks which make them unacceptable to the general public. Some of these chemically based technologies and the associated risk perceptions are the subject matter of this course.
