Current Projects: Translations of and commentaries on fragmentary Greek historians for Brill's New Jacoby; preparation of a grammatical and syntactical commentary on Epictetus' Encheiridion.
Banchich is the recipient of the 2009 Faculty Scholarship Award for his The History of Zonaras: From Alexander Severus to the Death of Theodosius the Great (London and New York: Routledge Press). This award is given to a faculty member who has published outstanding scholarship or other creative works while at Canisius.
