The College Relations Division honors one if its employees with the annual George M. Martin Advancement Award. Established in 1983 by George M. Martin, special counsel to the president, the award is presented to a member of the advancement staff whose initiative, creativity and teamwork brings distinction to him/herself and the college.
In 2007 the award was presented to Amy Johnson (center), director of the Annual Fund, and Kirsten Reppert (right), annual fund officer. They are pictured above with George Martin.
